Since one can only move up and right so total ways from A to P = 2

also for going from P to B without touching Q = 2
so total ways 2x2 =4

The answer is influenced by the word unique ways.
The Unique ways from A to P = 2
The Unique ways from P to B = 2
Total Four ways from A to B

thanks ...your method is also nice..I just posted the pictorial form of it...Well this type of problem becomes cumbersome when there is a bigger mesh...
