I know there is probably no right answer for this question. But I'm throwing it out there to GMAT experts, and people working hard on the format.
The question actually rises from the fact that "you need to lose a few battles to win the war." In the quant section, I might have to leave/guess a few questions, which may seem long and tedious to do, thus time consuming - in order to get a good overall score.
If the GMAT algorithm gives you a difficult question, after every correct question, then how many questions should you get it right in the beginning to touch the 90 percentile mark in the quant/verbal section?
