how many Qs on Combinatorics/probablity , statistics can we expect on GMAT?
I heard the number is really low.

I agree with Jim.

I'll add that statistics questions are more popular than counting/probability. This makes sense, since statistics are very important in business.
Conversely, it's doubtful that many CEOs will ever need to determine how many 3-person committees can be created with 7 people, if Ann and Barry refuse to be on the same committee.
Real life solution: Determine (fix) the problem between Ann and Barry :-)

Ya- most people dont put stats into that group of questions. Stats you have to know well- especially because it involves averages and many other components, it really can include all types of math. Comb and probabiliy, however, are very few and I had two combination questions on my total of 3 tests and no probability. Spend a day really learning combinations - once I did that they all made sense to me and I never had an issue with any except for the really tricky ones- which I would skip anyway. Know the basics of probability but don't spend any time on advanced stuff.
