How many perfect squares are less than the integer d?

(1) 23 < d < 33
(2) 27 < d < 37

OA: B

My approach:

From (1), 25 falls in the interval -- sufficient

From (2) there are no perfect sqaure in the interva- Sufficient.

Hence answer should be D? Where am going wrong?

u are assuming d is a perfect sq
in 2) max value of d is 36 so we know 1,4,9,16,25 are less d
1) d can be < or > or = 25
