1) The probability of randomly picking a green ball out of the basket is \(\frac{1}{12}\).
2) Of the 12 balls that were taken out of the basket, 1 was green.

From Statement 1, 1/12 of the 60 balls are green, so 5 balls are green. So Statement 1 is sufficient.

Statement 2 only tells us about 12 of the balls, so is not sufficient.
