Statement 1: Average number of pages per book is equal to the number of pages in the book with least number of pages.
This means that the number of pages in each book should be equal. But since there is ano information about the number of pages in the book and total books in the library, statement 1 is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Statement 2: The median number of pages in the book in the library is 240.
This doesn't tell us about the number of books in the library, and pages of the books. So, statement 2 is NOT SUFFICENT.

Combining both statements:
From statement 1: no. of pages of every book is the same
From statement 2: median no. of pages = 240
So, there is 240 pages in every book and no book with 250 pages or more. Therefore, both statement combined together are SUFFICIENT.
