1) The average (arithmetic mean) weight of the apples in the box is 8 oz.
2) The total weight of the apples in the box is 200 oz.

Average (arithmetic mean) weight of the apples = (Total weight of the apples) / (Number of apples)

Number of apples = (Total weight of the apples) / (Average (arithmetic mean) weight of the apples)

= 200/8 = 25. Sufficient.

The correct answer: C
