I'm a college senior and I wanted to get the GMAT out of the way before I started working. Unfortunately, my last semester has been a lot busier than I thought, so I plan on taking the test after graduation.

How much time should I give myself towards studying for this exam? Once I start studying, I will be able to devote 100% of my time towards the GMAT. (I have about a month between graduation and when I start working). I have done the basics (During winter break I went through Manhattan SC, PowerScore CR, and the Kaplan Quant book. I've also gone through 2 sections of the OG).

Will 2 additional straight weeks of intensive studying be enough, assuming I still need to refresh myself on stuff I did before? Thanks. I'm trying to aim for 700+.

Its depend on you how will you cope with all the upcoming challenges if there is will there is way, just go for it i am sure you can do it.

I didn't want to make another thread; sorry for hijacking this one.

Without any preparation whatsoever (except knowing how the scoring is done), I was able to get 650 (Q 46, V low, maybe 31) on GMATPrep #1 with about 10 minutes left in each of the sections.

How long would I be expected to study to be able to achieve a 740+? I'm finishing up my 3rd year in university and have about 6 full time weeks and 12 part-time weeks this summer to study, and was wondering if that would be enough for my goal.
