I'm deciding between two schools here in Israel - the Recanati School at Tel Aviv University, and the Jerusalem School of Business Administration at the Hebrew University.

I'm sure that both universities are great, the best that Israel has to offer, and they are just "different" in many ways unrelated to studies. No Israeli that I have spoken too has been able to prefer one over the other for an MBA.

But Tel Aviv is accredited (AACSB), and Hebrew University is not.

Is this actually meaningful? I have heard rumours about it, but it is difficult to know in practice. I have never seen a job advertisement with "Accredited MBA Preferred". :)

Any information very welcome.

Well, it's more a matter of "prestige". The accreditation in of itself is not worth that much, but in general, the schools that are accredited are better. And in this case it is true too. Recanati is a better B-school.
