How do you stay consistent with GMAT preparation every day?

I’m curious how others manage their GMAT preparation on a daily basis. Do you follow a fixed study schedule, or study whenever you have free time?

I find it easier to start studying than to stay consistent over several weeks. What habits or routines have helped you keep your preparation on track?

Starting is the easy part, so the routine should be smaller than feels necessary. A fixed time slot works better than studying whenever free time appears, because free time rarely appears. Set a minimum you can hit on a bad day, for example 20 questions or 30 minutes, and treat anything beyond it as a bonus. Planning the whole week on Sunday removes the daily decision about what to study, which is where many sessions quietly die. A visible tracker, even a paper calendar with a cross for each completed day, keeps the streak concrete. The most useful rule is simple: missing one day is fine, missing two in a row is not.
