Can anyone help me with the process needed to find the root of a decimal? Example, what is the cube root of .00027

convert to a fraction then apply root rules:

.00027 = 27/100,000 so

cube root (27/100,000) = cube root (27) / cube root (100,000) = 3/cube root (100,000)

did you copy the number incorrectly? i would have expected the number to be 0.000027 which would be lead to a nice answer --> 3/100 = 0.03. otherwise it's just an ugly messy number.
