This problem has been solved many times before.
Pls search before posting the question.
I searched for "4 feet tall" and here are the top 2 search results.

First Yr 4ft

Next 6 years (This is the trick. )

Yr 1 4+x

yr 2 4 +2x

3 4+3x

4 4+4x

5 4+5x

6 4+6x

4+6x= 4+4x + 1/5 (4+4x)

4+6x = 5/5(4+4x) +1/5(4+4x)
4 +6x = 6/5(4+4x)

20+ 30x = 24+ 24x

6x= 4

x=2/3
