Cant really comment cause I have never actually have taken a real GMAT. However, in contrast to GMATPREP, the test seems to be easier, but scoring is surprisingly decent (My last two mock CATS were GMATPREP and Princeton CAT respectivly, they were one week apart and gave me exactly the same score and break down! WOW! LOL).

True. OG problems are great but explanation are not as good. sometimes they are very difficult to understand.

Princeton tests : maths is very simple but English looks comparable to the real GMAT.

Princeton Scores : According to my experience, with the same number of questions solved in Princeton vs real GMAt, you will get 50-70 number less in Princeton.

I mean the tests are simple in Princeton but scores are more restrictive.

so you mean to say that the princeton tests are easier than the real gmat????

Let me explain :

1. Score are more conservative on Princeton

If you solve e.g.

34 questions in Math
30 questions in English

In Princeton you will get 640

But on real GMAT. you will get ~700.

2. Princeton tests are easy ->
As I wrote
(A) Maths is easy. In Princeton tests, easily I am able to solve correctly 32-36 questions in 60 minutes while on real GMAT, it takes 72-75 minute to solve correctly 30-32 questions for me.
(B) English is looking comparable.
