Everyone is going crazy with their brackets and March Madness is in full swing! So how can you, as an MBA applicant either now or in R1 2017/2018, use this March Madness to learn more about a program? Ahh... watching basketball games is a great opportunity to bond with alums and meet people who are joined together by a common love of their school. So seek out invites with a friend to go to the game watch party for UNC Kenan-Flagler alums, or Kellogg (first time at the big dance and already a win!), or Fuqua or UCLA... you get the idea! You will meet alums who are passionate about their program and during commercial breaks in the action you can use this as an opportunity to learn more about their job, what they liked about their school, etc! This is a great place to find large gatherings of alums all from the same school... so do your research! And learn about MBA programs of interest through March Madness game watch parties!
