dear all.. i am new to the community and have just started my preparation.. i am focusing on OG12 and OG 10... could someone please help me as to how relevent is OG 10 now??? i found the questions good enough for practise..should i continue with it??

Most Surely. OG10 is very good for GMAT practice.

thanks abhishek.. much appriciated.. i am using OG10+OG12+ and couple of material i have from online sources.. but my main focus in on OG's... not to forget the Manhatten guides as well!!

I hope this should be fine?? :!: could experts please jump in and provide their inputs as well?!

This book is wonderful for practice as GMAT questions have evolved some but the content areas tested have not changed much over the years. with OG 10 you have less overlap with OG 12, although there still are some duplicate questions. Always be sure to use OG 12 and the GMATprep software but all official questions are good to use.

Also, be sure you develop a study method that helps you to identify your strengths and weaknesses and focuses on knowledge, testing and confidence development.

Thanks Becky for the reply... Good to know I am on right track... Also could you please elaborate that when you say "a study method to identify strengths and weaknesses"??... I am planning to write my GMAT in July-end... so how can one develop the confidence building??

My proposed study plan is:
- OG 10 + Manhattan guides for concept building
- OG 12 + Manhattan CATs
- GMAT prep tests

Is there any other material I need to be focusing on?? I believe if concept building is taken care by study plan above... I needn't over burden with tons of material... Your thoughts??!!

Also what are your thoughts on Manhattan guides??
