Q:If I am looking to change careers can I not do that with a part-time program
My philosophy is that I want the degree (MBA) I just don't want to be broke trying to get it

Q: I am looking to stay in Houston after Grad school. Does it really matter if I go to a big name school if the local Universities have a good reputation? {EX Rice, University of Houston, Texas A&M, University of Texas} :wink: :shock:

Dear calical,

#1 - see my answer to your previous post.

#2 - if you want to be in Houston post-MBA, then you can do that from really any school in Texas. Rice and UH are particularly strong in Houston and well-connected, but the reputation and alumni networks of UT and Texas A&M are also helpful. Depending on what you want to do post-MBA, some schools are a better option than others in terms of curriculum and recognition. You have plenty of options in Texas, so you should find several schools that will meet your needs.
