Hi Nicolas and thanks for your post. Please see my comments below:

Your work experience seems quite solid and it's nice to see that you were successful in making the transition from consulting to banking.

Education:
- BS in Economics from Universidad de los Andes (top research university in Colombia, top 10 in Latin America) - GPA 4.42/5.00 equiv to a 3.5-3.6/4.0
- High School - American School in Bogota, Colombia

Testing
- GMAT: 710 (V 87%, Q 84%)

Academically speaking you are in good shape. With a solid GPA and a 710 GMAT score you are right on par with top 15 US programs.

Extracurricular:
- Lead an agriculture, mining, and clean energy development program in rural Colombia
- Lobbying a large scale real estate project in Colombia
- Volunteer entrepeneurship teacher at a local school

The leadership in your extracurricular activities will certainly help your application. You should consider writing about your leadership experience in your essays. It's refreshing to see someone in financial services with a solid list of extracurricular activities.

Target Schools for Fall ´10:
- Columbia
- Wharton
- Stanford
- Chicago
- NYU

You've compiled a great list of schools, however, without information about your goals it's hard for me to evaluate your fit with these programs. Can you share short and long term goals with me?

Best,

Stacey
