Hi
i m a doctor from india . i have 4 yrs work exp in hospitals and in pharmaceutical companies. i posted my profile on this blog last month and got the feed back that i have a fair chance to make into top b schools . Thank u very much for ur time n efforts.i took GMAT last week n scored 710 (V 35 , Q 50).
can a good score in TOEFL compensate for my comparatively low score in verbal ? i will appreciate if u plz brief how to start working for applications. i have short listed 3 business school duke , harvard ( bcoz both have health sector electives) and Darden. plz guide me, how to search for right schools to apply?

Hi gmat doctor,

Great job on the GMAT. A good TOEFL score is probably very important to balance the low verbal score on the GMAT. You'll also want to make sure your essays are well written.

Wharton also has a great health care major you might want to investigate. I think you're doing the right thing by evaluating potential schools by their programs, and I would encourage you to think about factors such as location, size of class, professors you're interested in, and to gain an understanding of your fit with the school by speaking with current students.
