Can you clarify what you just wrote?

Are you saying that you got 24 out 37 Quant questions correct? Unfortunately, that's not enough information to assess how well you actually did.

What was your score for the entire practice CAT? What were the Scaled Scores and/or Percentiles for each section?

As an aside, I've personally worked with people who saw a score increase of over 300 points in 3 months, so the idea that you could only improve your score 100 points is silly.

Hi Dan,

Since this is a pencil-and-paper test, there's no way to properly assess what this would translate to on the CAT-Quant Scale. Your book might make an estimate, but since this is NOT a Test-like experience, the results aren't going to tell you how strong you are. The results could probably help identify your weaknesses though and you can use all of these questions again later (for review purposes).

It sounds like you might just be starting off with your GMAT training. Have you taken any full-length practice CATs yet? If not, then take one and report back with your results. THAT data will help to assess your current ability and will help me to offer some pointed advice.
