I took the GMAT for the 2nd time yesterday and scored a 450, the first time I scored a 600. i was completely thrown off my game, didn't feel well, and literally had to start guessing mid-way through each section because timing was a huge issue. I should have canceled my scores but I didn't. I know that 450 is not representative of my ability. Even the 600 that I scored the 1st time was way below my practice exams.

My question is...

Most of the schools say that they only "consider the highest GMAT score". Does this mean that they will not hold yesterday's performance against me?

Dear tradejoe,

No, your new score will not be held against you in your evaluation if a school only uses your highest score in the evaluation.
