sqrt(288xk)

288 = 2*12*12 = 2^5 3^2

x is divisible by 6

least value of x = 6 = 2*3

288x = 2^6*3^3

sqrt(2^6*3^3*k) = 2^3*3 sqrt(3*k) = 24sqrt(3*k)

the question asks what CANNOT be the value of sqrt(288xk)

eliminate A, C, D because every option does have k in the sqrt with one 3.

Option A can and cannot be the value of sqrt(288xk) because we dont know anything about k.

Option E can also be the value of sqrt(288xk), if x=12

Therefore B is answer. Sorry for the typo.

Let me know if you have any doubts.
