Guys,
Need some help. Got my exam scheduled for the 1st of July. I'm done with only Sentence Correction till now (from Manhattan Sentence Correction and OG 11th edition, which I started at the beginning of April). I'm not sure of how to go about my prep. Will I be able to prepare for the exam in just 2 months???? I'm finding it really tough to study along with work......

THanks! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Two months should be more than enough time to prep for the GMAT; if you're having a hard time juggling work and studying for the test at the same time, I'd recommend making a schedule as soon as you can, and sticking to it. Studying for 2 to 3 hours a day is usually a good place to start.

Alright. But I'm aiming for a 750+.
Is it really about how much time you invest or is more about strategy??

Note that 750 is 98th percentile... meaning that only 2% of test takers meet or exceed that score. I'm not saying it's impossible, but you need to take a practice test and set goals/expectations accordingly. If you're starting at 710, you're in good shape for breaking 750. If you're starting at 400, it's a different story.

In general, people who score 750+ have all of the following, and then some:

1. A solid foundation in basic math
2. Excellent "number sense" (estimating, mental math, etc.)
3. A solid and grammatically technical command of the English language (written, not necessarily spoken)
4. Solid logical reasoning skills
5. A natural aptitude for standardized tests
