Help! Problem with CR!

My GMAT is due in a month's time and I am still struggling in CR. My speed is fairly OK in SC and RC, but I am averaging about 2 minutes/ CR question. Very few questions take me a minute or less and my accuracy is around 6/7 (answered correct). Does this sound promising? By how much should I aim to increase my speed? I have taken a couple of practice tests and am unable to complete the verbal section, mostly because i get stuck on CR questions.

From what you say you should be doing just fine. Avg. 2 minutes per CR question is good speed. And with that, completing the Verbal section on time shouldn't be an issue.

We have approximately 1 min 49 seconds for each question in verbal section. But some time can always be stolen from SC and given to RC and CR.

I have read on this forum that spending more than 3 minutes on any question in either section is like committing suicide.
