Some restaurants in Kenya offer dishes made with the meat of giraffes and gazelles not normally served in restaurants in other parts of the world.
A. dishes made with the meat of giraffes and gazelles not normally served
B. dishes made with the meat, not normally served, of giraffes and gazelles
C. dishes, being made with the meat of giraffes and gazelles, not normally served
D. dishes of the meat of giraffes and gazelles which are not normally served
E. dishes made with the meat of giraffes and gazelles, dishes not normally served

OA E

I was confused between A and E. I know A looks a bit odd to read but i rejected E because the second part after comma looks like a clause and thus cannot be only separated by comma.

Please correct my understanding if i am wrong...

The second sentence is not a clause but a Absolute phrase, which is just another modifying phrase.
This part gives more information dishes. What kind of dishes?
Dishes not normally served in other parts of the world.

An absolute phrase is composed of a noun plus noun modifier. In this case, "dishes not normally served in restaurants in other parts of the world." is that phrase, which modifies the main phrase.

"dishes not normally served in restaurants in other parts of the world." can be broken down into: dishes (noun) + not (negative) + normally (adverb) + served (main transitive verb) + in restaurants in other parts of the world (adverbial phrase).

Heh, I thought I used this opportunity to practice =).
