Is x Angle ACD or BCA?

looks like it's angle BCD. The solution to this problem is A.

Hi all:

Let me explain and let's see if this helps.

If x is BCD, then x = 180 - z ; then 2 is sufficient (1 is useless) and answer is B.
If x is BCA, then y = x; then 1 is sufficient and 2 is useless and answer is A.
