I think the best way to improve on these section is by reading newspapers and magazines online, but you might also want to try out the Powerscore CR bible.

I liked the short documents in the resource section that talk about how to read properly, that is, getting rid of subvocalization, back-tracking etc...

You let me know that you don't want to post your real score on the forums, which is fine, but we do need to talk about certain things in general. From your PM, it sounds like your verbal score really dropped on the test. I can't tell what happened with your quant score - did it drop, too? Stay the same? Please let us know.

You list sources for both SC and CR, but not for RC - in terms of how to get better at RC, not just practice problems to do for RC. Did you have any book or resource that taught you strategies for tackling RC?

Okay, we've got some data to work with now. If you do the analyses described in the articles I linked in my last post, though, we'll be able to help you even more!

First, you need to identify something that teaches you how to do RC (similar to MGMAT for SC and PowerScore for CR). You can use anything you want - all the companies have books for RC - but you do need something to help you with these.

Here are some RC articles to get you started, but these are not enough by themselves. You need an actual, comprehensive book for this topic.

Those are good starting points, but if you want more specific advice that relates to your strengths and weaknesses, we need even more data. Do those analysis described in the two articles in my last post. It will take you probably at least an hour to do each one, and you're going to have to take notes while you do it - especially the one in which you analyze an MGMAT test.
