Well , Then simplest recommendation you'd get is that you should contact the colleges you have in mind for admission process . You should send an email to all the colleges with your profile summary including these points :-

1.Updated CV
2.Statement of Purpose SOP,LOR
3.Work experience
4.Academics/Extra Curricular
5.Post MBA plans

The other option (This might be more obvious!) would be to consider working with a credible MBA admissions consultant to develop and execute the best possible application strategy, given your current profile and your gmat score I reckon you will land in good college .

Most of the US B-schools evaluate your profile in holistic manner and they look at your essays, SOP, Resume Extra curriculars, achievements at work place. They read your application thoroughly and then decide. So GMAT is one of the eligibility criteria. Which country is your country of origin? If you are applying from a country with competitive applicant pool like India your GMAT is weighed more as a filtering mechanism (and normalizing mechanism).

So, the average Indian GMAT score tends to be higher than the average Indian GMAT score. Therefore, I would recommend for you to retake the exam. Also, the quality of undergraduate institution is very important. So, an IIT > NIT > a lesser known school.

We would need to know more about your undergraduate institution, career goals, etc. to recommend a school, but you should be looking at schools with a GMAT average below 650.
