Hi All,

A brief intro to my GMAT attempts.

Attempt 1 (2010): overall score 640 Q(49), V(28)
Attempt 2(2012): overall score 610 Q(47), V(28)

Can someone please give me an insight on a study plan to increase my verbal score. I'm taking my 3rd exam on 13th Sep 2014.

I have a few questions about your studies:
1 How did these scores compare with your practice CAT scores?
2) Since your last Official GMAT was in 2012, did you prepare for the IR section or did you take the older version of the GMAT?
3) How have you been studying for this next attempt at the GMAT?

Good on you for wanting to improve your score. It's hard work, but it is very doable!

Hi Rich,

Thank you for you response. Before I gave my exam in 2012 I did not take any CAT exams. I started taking CAT exams only after that. My CAT scores till now are:

Manhattan CATs
CAT1: 500 (Q36, V23)
CAT2: 550 (Q40, V28)
CAT3: 580 (Q42, V29)
CAT4: 600 (Q45, V29)

Kaplan Tests:
CAT5: 660 (Q54%, V45%)
CAT6: 680 (Q64%, V50%)

Right now I am following the 60 day guide for daily study. But I'd like a more intensive daily plan on the verbal section. Please advise.
