HELP !!! GMAT score 700, retake required ??

I gave my GMAT(first attempt) on 25th aug 2011 and scored 700 Q50 V34.
I took certain practice tests in the last week and my score was consistent at 720 and 730 level.Do i need to retake the test for gaining those extra 20-30 points??

My profile goes like this :
1. Mechanical engg from BITS Pilani ( Top 10 engg college of India ) With GPA 3.3
2. Work Ex of 2yrs 3 months as a mechanical design engineer for transformers with a reputed MNC .
3. Best Graduate Trainee during 1st yr of my job and have 4 patents in the transformers field.
4.National Level Lawn tennis Player till age of 17 and now coach some kids during my free time
5.Event Manager of National level Robotics Competition in my college
6.Organizing committee member of National Level Sports Festival held in college.
7.Member of Public Relations Committee of my college.
8.Founder member of Festival celebrating body of my college
9.ESPN-STAR Sports Champion of my town during school days.
10. Won a few Debating Competitions and got best all rounder award during college times.

I am targeting top 15 colleges of US , Insead Singapore and ISB Hyderabad. I have certain financial problems and hence cant pursue an MBA without scholarship.Will my not so high GMAT score pull me back in receiving scholarship or in getting admits from the top universities . Please suggest and guide me .

Dear aditya_bitsg,

With an over-represented profile, increasing your GMAT to the 730+ range might be helpful for you. While your current 700 is in the competitive range, you need to find a way to stand out from the applications that look similar to yours. Gaining admission to a top 15/INSEAD/ISB is an accomplishment as competition is fierce for those few slots at each program. You should not expect scholarship awards from any of these schools, and if you do receive admission with a scholarship award to one, then you will be in a small, select group. If scholarship awards are a priority for you, then you might consider applying to programs outside the top 25 where your chances of admission increase due to being seen as an "above average" applicant relative to the school's class profile.
