I've noticed there were a lot of candidates on these boards that have some background in management consulting. To me, this category of applicants has always been a challenge. They have many strengths that can help with the application process if used appropriately, but they have many obstacles to overcome as well. I've written, what I hope, is a helpful article for any consultant applicants who are hoping to gain admission into a top program soon. You can find it here: https://www.thefirstread.com/consultants ... -programs/ There are probably some tips here that would also apply to categories of applicants other than consultants, because of how I've done my analysis, but I'm not as familiar with some of the other categories, as I am with consultants.
Keep the thoughts on new articles coming! Happy reading and best of luck to everyone as we head into R1,
