Hello! A basic doubt

by harshad_gmat » Mon Oct 31, 2011 4:36 am
Hello..I have just started my preparation for GMAT and as suggested in the daily plan of Beat the GMAT, I took the mock GMATPrep test.
The problem is that I forgot to record my quants and verbal score and I just remember the total score it told me, it was 600.
In Quantitative, out of 37, 17 were incorrect and in verbal, out of 41, 17 were incorrect, can I decipher my Q and V score out of this?
Please Reply.

Well harshad...
As you know, these things aren't linear. Your scaled score is dependent on the difficulty level of the questions you got wrong, and on whether you got any experimental question wrong.
I would peg your score as a 43Q , 32V.

However, this is only a guestimate. Please take it with a pinch of salt.

Cheers!
