Healthcare MBA programs - Need a Kick-On

by rahulg83 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 10:47 pm
Hi All,

I am planning to start MBA program in Fall 2011 and looking especially for the ones, that specialize in Healthcare Administration. I have done a bit of research and found two schools, SDA Bocconi, Italy and NUS, Singapore. But I need more resources and information about Healthcare MBA. Can somebody help me on that regard?

Also I don't have any prior experience in Healthcare domain, but it definitely is the field of my liking and I'd like to make a career in that. But I have started my own research on big pharma firms like Pfizer and Ranbaxy. I have 2.5 years of IT experience (India) as of now, good academic record(Graduate with honors), a pretty O.K. GMAT score of 710, and average extra curricular activities.

You may want to look into the Yale School of Management:

I know they have some healthcare specific MBA electives:

I believe they're highly regarded within the industry. The name definitely doesn't hurt. I'm not sure if you're looking in the US though.

Cheers
