Hi,

I have done my undergraduation in technology from India and worked in software industry in a leadership role for 2 years. Post that, I did my masters in Business from one of the top 10 B-schools in India and I interned with KPMG during that period. Since I always had the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills built in my genes, I started a Wealth management firm in 2009. Its been more than 2 years now and we have now diversified into areas of fund raising, investment banking and Angel funding. Our team has grown and I have led the organisation to be one of the most promising young organisation in this sector in India. I am one of the first few and the youngest guy to start a small angel / incubator fund for startups and have invested in more than 10 start ups already.

At this juncture I am keen on doing my my MBA from the top 10 b-schools in the US and take this sabbatical to get a global exposure as that is where i see a gap right now. Only hitch is that I already have done my masters in business earlier - which I do not regret at all but all that it lacks is global exposure and that is the gap which I feel the need to plug at this juncture.

Let me know if you think I can make it there and which places should I target assuming I get a good GMAT score and am able to bank on my successful entrepreneurial venture.

Thanks,
Rushabh

Hi Rushabh,

Thanks for your post. It sounds like you've had an impressive career to date and are ready to take it to the next level. Given your goals you should look into top 10-15 range programs in the US. This lists includes Wharton, Columbia, HBS, Chicago, etc. You'll want to score at least 720 on your GMAT to be competitive for admission at these programs. You'll also want to look into each of them to see which ones fit not only your professional goals but also your personal needs (class size, location) If you haven't already started studying for the GMAT I suggest you start soon. Ideally you can take the GMAT no later than September which will give you time to apply to a school or two in round 1.

Regards,

Stacey
