Hello,
I am in the thick of my essay writing and I was wondering about the first two questions of HBS admissions. Each requests to list three events - Accomplishments and setbacks.
Currently, each essay of mine is divided into three sections with no real connection between them. I don't have a summary paragraph either.
I was wondering if this is expected due to the word limitation or should I add some sort of concluding paragraph?

That is perfectly fine. Many try to force a connection and unify what at times does not organically fit together. Given the tight word limits, jump right into the first accomplishment without summarizing all three, and don't feel the need to conclude. Each separate mini section though can have its own conclusion.

I have helped many accepted HBS applicants who had no connections, no preambles, and no macro conclusion section.
