When considering the various options to help you study for the GMAT, there are a number of factors that you should consider. Beyond the obvious factors (score goal, timeline, budget), you need to consider the "realism" and "personality" of the product.

The GMAT is administered on a computer, so your practice should be based heavily on a computer. Doing some bookwork is fine, and there ARE certain books that are a must (the GMAC OG, for example), but you're not going to be taking a pencil-and-paper test, so you will likely be better served by including some significant computer-based resources to your studies. If a course does not offer computer-based resources, then that's a limitation that you need to factor into your decision.

The personality of a product is more about the "style" of the product - how does the product "get it's message across?" Is the presentation too complex or technical for your tastes? Is the product easy to use? Does it offer enough material to help you properly practice? Etc.

I have no opinion to offer about the company you mentioned, but most companies can handle standard credit card/check transactions, so I do find it odd that you've been asked for a wire transfer. If you're suspicious about a resource, then you probably shouldn't use it. There are plenty of other options to choose from. Additionally, most GMAT companies offer some type of FREE resources (practice problems, practice CATs, trial accounts, etc.), so that you can get a "feel" for the products before you buy them. Take advantage of those options, then use your own evaluation to decide which one(s) to purchase.
