I chose E

I eliminate B because as per the meaning of the sentence J.K Rowling's worth is worth over $1 billion. I found the meaning of the sentence wrong. How can person ( who is writer of the book Harry Potter) can be worth over $ 1 billion. Instead it must be the book worth over $1 billion or the sentence which is given in choice E.

Please explain me how can B be correct?

A writer can be worth 1 billion dollars in the meaning that a publishing house that wants to take over such a person from another publisher (similarly as football clubs fight for best football players) will have to pay 1 billion dollars. So stating that a person is worth some amount of money is more of a shortcut - what is meant is that a contract with this person is worth a certain amount of money.

I understand clearly now after you make me understand but how I will understand from this sentence what this actually want to mean that is whether the actual sentence wants to mean worth of writer or the income worth of writer. As both option are given.So how I will understand which I need to eliminate??

Please help me Kasia !!

Not sure what you mean. None of the answer choices discuss any worth that isn't monetary...
