Is the line k pass through section II of plane x,y ( I do not know how to draw axis y)

1, slope of k is -1/6

2, y-intercept of k is 6

the standard equation of the line y = mx + c [ m = slope, c = y intercept]

here the equation of the line : y = -1/6 x +6

6y+x = 36

The x intercept of this line is (36,0)

and y intercept is (0,6)

From these it is apparent that the line will pass through quadrant 2, the only quadrant it will miss is 3 rd quadrant.
