I'm hoping to go to Berkeley Part time but unsure of because of my GMAT score. Any advice would be great!
Background: Work experience:
-first two years did software sales at a fortune 250 company; hit all of my targets and goals, was promoted 2 times. Acted a mentor to 3 sales development reps.
-started working at Oracle doing enterprise sales and project management consulting. Built a sales development program in the first 4 months that trained 60+ incoming college graduated on key sales skills. Hit my full year target in the first 4 months. I was at Oracle for 10 months and had no plans on leaving, but a client that I did a project for liked me so much that they offered a 60% pay increase and a chance to do full time consulting and I couldn't turn that down. I've been at that consulting company for two years (think deloitte, IBM, E&Y) doing finance & IT business analytics and strategy consulting. Got one promotion from senior consultant to manager. Will have 2 letters of recommendations from Partners.
Extra curriculars: volunteer at childrens hospital about once a month for about a year. Have helped raise over $5,000 in money. Played division 1 rugby in college (captain 1 year) and continue to play division 1.
Undergrad school/major: Top 50 undergrad state school. Pre-med concentration/Cellular Biology major. 3.43 GPA. Worked 20 hours a week for all four years. GPA trended upwards each year.
-Born in Europe. First generation college student; completely paid for college myself.
GMAT: 640(Q45 V32). Through the enhanced score report, I got the equivalent of a 40 on sentence correction and critical thinking but bombed reading comprehension. Going to take it again in a month.
MBA Info Goal of MBA: to lead the data analytics for a bulge bracket bank.
Target schools: Haas EWMBA, UCLA Anderson FEMBA, USC Part Time
