according to the directions on a can of frozen grape juice concentrate, 1 can of concentrate is to be mixed w/ 3 cans of water to make grape juice. how many 12 ounce cans of the concentrate are required to prepare 200 6 ounce servings of grape juice?

OA=25

FOr every 1 can of concentrate, 3 cans of water are used.

200 6oz cans are the same thing as 100 12oz cans.

so you do 1x + 3x = 100

4x = 100; x = 25.

since concentrate is 1x and x = 25, the number of 12oz cans are 25.
