If x - y > 10, Is x - y > x + y ?
(1) x = 8
(2) y = -20

D would be my guess.. cuz u need to know the sign of the variables to determine the answer to the question..both answer choices provide this.. therefore D

Let's rephrase the question.
x-y>x+y ==> x-x>y+y==> question will be, is 2y<0 or is y<0.
stmt2) is an easy statement, if y=-20, y<0. sufficient.
stmt1) If x=8, then 8-y>10 => -y>2, y<-2. hence y<0. Statement is sufficient.
Let's rephrase the question.
