My gpa is 3.687 my question is how many digits will the AdCom look at? will they just see the 3.6 or see that i was very close to a 3.7?

Whatever is reported on your transcript...

ok cool... damn just one more A - instead of B+ and i could have had my 3.7 :). kicking myself now... although i doubt the difference really matters much.

i mean if your school reports down to the thousandth then they'll see the 7... i wouldn't worry about a 3.7 vs. 3.6, if THAT'S what keeps you out of a certain school then they must really not have wanted you... that's how I view it but it won't be an issue...

If your GPA wasn't the highest it could have been in undergrad, do you suggest taking a class or two prior to applying to any MBA programs?

1st thing would be to score higher on the GMAT

Your GPA is very strong (and on your resume you should round it to a 3.7 - it looks silly to have 3 decimal places!). I wouldn't worry about taking additional classes just to show you can get better grades UNLESS you didn't have any econ/stats/calculus/finance courses. If this is the case then taking a few "pre-business" courses would reinforce your commitment to get a business education. And, of course great grades would only help.
