You may not have enough time to move that score up before May 2nd. How much have you studied? What score are you trying to achieve? What were the circumstances of the test that you took?

I'm not sure what your target score is, but I typically suggest that students achieve their target score on at least 2 practices tests before they take the official test.

So, if April 25th arrives (1 week before your test), and you have not achieved your target score on any practice tests, you should consider rescheduling your test (for a small fee). After April 25th, you will not be able to reschedule.

GmatPrep is the most precise tool you can use to determine your testing abilities. Trust me, do not do what I did. I thought I was a going to get lucky when I had a lower score than I wanted on the GMATPrep software. I took the official test anyways only to hit the SAME EXACT SCORE *sigh*....

Brent's advice on securing your goal score is one of the best pieces of advice I have seen on this forum.

Maybe you want to postpone your GMAT, doesn't sound you're ready yet, given the GMATPrep's score, which is usually a good reflection of the score you are going to get. If not, try to identify you weak area and improve. It is much easier to improve from a low score to a high score than to improve from a high score to a higher score.
