Hi All -
I just finished with my GMAT this week and did fairly ok. I studied for approx four weeks. Following are some of the material I covered:
1) OG 11th edition
2) Kaplan 800
I give three practice test:
Kaplan 1: 600
GMAT Prep 1: 740
GMAT Prep 2: 740
Besides this, i did solve problems from beatthegmat.

cheers,
Manish

Manish: That is a very impressive score with just 4 weeks of preparation. Good job !
I am supposed to take the GMAT (for the 3rd time !) end of this month. But due to various reasons I haven't really begun preparing. So there is a possibility that I might postpone it by 2 weeks and try to improve my Verabl score over my previous attempts. My previous scores are in the low 600s and I prepared for about 3 weeks before each attempt. If you took the GMAT practice tests early during your preparation and scored in the mid 700s then you are in different league and my chances of getting anywhere near your score seem slim. But if you started on shaky grounds and towards the end of your 4 week prepartion got to those scores then I guess I have some hope ! So please tell me about your preparation strategy because I don't have a lot of time in hand and my Verbal needs drastic improvements (was in the 47th percentile range in my last attempt..dropped from about 69 perecntile in the earlier attempt) ! All the best with your applications and once again Congratulations !
