erm i think primarily u need 2 work on your verbal .... try reading online journals like international herald tribune or wallstreet journal .... scientific american also provides sum good articles similar to da 1's usually asked in rc ....

if ur sc aint gud, go thru da grammer concepts ... analyze where u make most of the mistakes nd then go thru da grammer rules for da respective types of q's ....

for cr, c whether u can identify da conclusions, assumptions and premise in every question ..... if not, work on these concepts .... once u r thru wid dis, tackling da q becomes comparatively easy cuz most of da q's r based on them ....

for rc there r endless strategies, c whether da 1 u subscribe 2 is actually helping u or not .... reading wud help a gr8 deal .... but i'd advice u not 2 spend a lot of time comprehending da passage, a question may or may not be asked frm da section u've been breakin ur head over .... after reading every para in da passage, try 2 write da main point of it ... dis wud help u rem better wt da whole para comprise of .... but then again for rc, everybdy has their own tactics so choose da approach dat suits u best ....

well i dunno alex did u hav trouble understanding sumthng cuz i tend 2 use a lot of abbrevations, thnx 2 note-makin practices ....

just saying that on a board that's supposed to help ppl improve their verbal/writting skills, seeing spelling like that (like a 12 yr old wrote i) did surprise me

well i dont think people have joined this forum to improve on their verbal skills reading spellings from posts. The sole basis of the post was to send my point across.
And 1 more thing, when you say 'no offence', dont use offensive words (like freakin annoyin). Its as good as saying 'no offence but you sing horrendously'. There is always a polite way.

@arti ... one of the good ways to improve verbal(according to me) is keep on writing and reading the GMAT way at least till is over. If you think that this should directly translate to a better verbal or a gmat score, maybe NO. But for sure, you will be just know when something is wrong. :)

I used to see that my sentences in official mails were correct according to rules of SC...lol
