IMO B

The proper way to make confit of goose is to boil them in their own fat and then allow the fats to set.
a. same - the pronoun them is ambiguous
b.to boil the goose in its own fat and then allow the fats to set.
c.if they are boiled in fats and then the fats are allowed to set - no need for if as there is no condition specified
d.for them to be boiled in their own fats and then the fats are allowed to set - one problem is the pronoun them, as well as the sentence does not sound correct - for them to be boiled
e.if the goose is boiled in fat and then their fat allowed to set - same as C
