Hi,
0.12 = 9/y =>y = 75
Hence, B

x/y = 96.12 = 96 + 0.12

Remainder comes from the decimal part of it

0.12y = 9

y = 9/0.12 = 900/12 = 300/4 = 75

IMO B
x/y = 96.12
x=96 y + .12y

also x = yQ+9

from both statements 0.12y=9
y = 900/12 =75

I think you meant "x = Qy + 9"

We have x/y = 96.12 => x = 96y + 0.12y
The remainder is 9,
=> 0.12y = 9 => y = 75
Answer: B

x/y remainder=9
x/y=96.12
x=96.12y = 96y+.12y
thus x/y remainder = .12y=9
y=75
IMO B
