I'd be happy to!

First, the commonly mentioned heavy hitter, Kellogg.

Wharton, even though it is stereotyped as finance, has a great marketing program and strong network to boot.

Stanford has an amazing marketing program geared more on the analytics and quantitative side although they obviously do the more standard marketing and brand management focus as well.

Outside of those top choices, here are some more:

HBS
Columbia
Booth
Ross
Haas
Stern
Duke

Now, some of the above are better than others or offer different advantages in particular.

A host of other top 25 schools also have strong marketing programs and it really comes down to what you're looking for in a program and your profile to figure out the best targets.

If you have any questions or want to chat about it, don't hesitate to reach out!

Bhavik - I'm just curious as to how you came up with that list of Brand Management schools for my own knowledge. There are some schools on there that I was personally not aware of as being "strong" and other schools that have been left out. That's interesting for me because I think there's something to be said for two people who, have been around the block, being able to come up with separate lists - or lists that are not completely identical. Obviously Kellogg would be on that list.

With that being the case - I would like to reiterate to the poster something that you said because it's very important when evaluating schools- "A host of other top 25 schools also have strong marketing programs and it really comes down to what you're looking for in a program and your profile to figure out the best targets."

I came up with that list by triangulating across a variety of factors including opportunities, organizations, faculties, placement, and rankings.

As a side note, I have sent you a note privately.

I took my gmat after scoring 650-690 on mocks landed with the following score

Gmat- 590 IR-2 :( AWA-4
Masters in Managent studies (Markerting) Mumbai uni- 69%
Bachelors in Management Studies (Markerting) - 69%
Wrk Exp - 5 yrs

Considering finance and my score i was thinking of the following Bschools in US:
BYU (mariott)
Wisconsin
Texas A&M
Pittsburgh
Connecticut

Europe:
Essec
Bocconi

What are my chances of getting into the above mentioned uni, or suggest some other good schools (preferably US). would appreciate some reply.

Thanks

Hi Pia,

I'm sorry for taking so long to respond to you! Before I can help you I need you to answer two questions. What have you been doing from a work perspective for the last 5.5 years and what do you want to do after your MBA?
