Goal of a 650 PLEASE HELP

I will be taking my next GMAT attempt Feb 8th. I have about 33 days prior to test day.
I am currently in a gmat prep course, and my exam is scheduled for the week after my course ends.
My plan is to continue going through the course study guide, while also doing drills (OG 13) in the
morning and night on my weak areas ( Go over the explanations and really understand why I got the answer right or wrong and also learn to distinguish what skills each question requires). CAT exams will be taken every saturday up until the week before.

Since I am an accountant the week of my exam is month end closing. SO I am not sure if I can squeeze a CAT in, but I will try my best to do so. My goal is 650 for this next
attempt and a 700 for my third. I would have preferred to have taken the exam twice at the most, but
under pressure I took the exam in Dec 2013 and did not do too well.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you will be able to complete only 3 (perhaps 4) full length practice tests. You might want to consider scheduling more tests.

Keep in mind that he GMAT is a test of your math and verbal skills AND it's a test of your test-taking skills (endurance, time management, anxiety control, etc). So, 650-level math/verbal skills combined with 500-level test-taking skills will likely result in a score that's closer to 500 than to 650.

Thanks Brent! I appreciate the feedback. I will try to take about 4 practice test before
my official test day. I have read a number of debriefs and they all stress the importance
of stamina on test day.
