Goal of 550 (PLEASE HELP!)

by j.carile » Tue Nov 04, 2008 1:23 pm
Hey everyone,

Can someone tell me how much preparation goes into getting a score of at least 550 on the GMAT? I know it isn't the most ambitious of scores but it's all I need! I intend to take my exam on January 9th. I did the critical reasoning and problem solving practice questions on GMAT prep and got 11/15 on each section under time (about 1.5 mins per question).

Thanks,

Joe

go to www.mba.com and download the free practice tests. take one and see how you do and that will be a good proxy.

I'm no expert, but I'd say your best bet (cheapest option included) would be to simply purchase a prep book like Kaplan Premier or Princeton Review : Cracking the GMAT.
