Q Stem:

wx = y
---> w = y/x

Stmt1:
wx^2 = 16
---> w = 16/x^2

Combine Q Stem and Stmt 1:

y/x = 16/x^2

(y * X^2) / x = 16
y*x = 16

Sufficient

Stmt2:
No info about X or W ---> insufficient

Answer A

(1) Can be rewritten as wx(x) = 16
Since wx = y, you can rewrite it as xy = 16
